A lot of my work has made its way onto the main blog, and some other projects I can’t talk about for one reason or another. Here’s a few pieces of work that don’t fit the blog but might be of interest to some:

  • City of Adel Downtown Plan – Editor and Layout Designer
    • I was involved in the Adel Downtown plan from the very start, writing and issuing surveys both online and in person at the Adel Sweet Corn Festival.
    • Although I was officially the editor and layout designer, I did a significant amount of work on the plan itself, including the introductory chapter, several sections of later chapters, and notable edits and adjustments throughout. I also created the majority of the graphics throughout the document.
  • Expanding Access to Quality Affordable Housing in Grand Junction, Iowa
    • With an excellent group of fellow CRP students in a studio course, I helped create this set of proposals for quality affordable housing in a small town in Iowa.
    • The project was awarded the APA Iowa 2021 Exemplary Student Project Award.
  • Equity of Historic Preservation in Iowa
    • This was my final project in my Intermediate GIS course. It is an overview comparing the density of historic properties and socioeconomic data in two Iowa counties.
  • Means Are Ends Are Means
    • An essay produced in my planning theory course. A more formal writing project than Urban Utopias that still showcases my communication skills.
  • RStudio Sample
    • A sample of my RStudio work for my Data Analysis course. The sample draws on US Census data to develop and design graphs showcasing demographic information about Seattle, WA.
  • Blue Infrastructure Literature Review
    • A review of existing blue infrastructure research, completed for Prof. Mônica Haddad.
